Welcome to a new Wildcard Wednesday, on a Tuesday! 30 Rock will be back tomorrow; in the meantime, I want to give a quick update regarding my new book, GREAT AMERICAN SITCOMS OF THE 1950s, which you can purchase from me here, on Amazon here, or anywhere online that books are sold — including from the publisher, McFarland.

One of the perks in buying from me is that I’ll also send you info on how to access a special Dropbox folder where you can view some of the rarer, hard-to-find episodes discussed in the book. Every month or so since February, I’ve been rotating episodes into the folder, and I just put in new samples of Burns And Allen, The Bob Cummings Show, and The Ann Sothern Show — currently joining entries from Trouble With Father, Amos ‘N Andy, I Married Joan, and Our Miss Brooks. (Next month I’ll be adding more kooky, off-the-wall picks that don’t represent my favorite examples but are nevertheless interesting, so get the above while you can!)
