The 2023 Sitcom Tuesday Survey

Welcome to a new Wildcard Wednesday! This week, I’m starting to consider what sitcoms to cover after Cybill and Beckerso I once again have created a survey where you can let me know what you’d most like to see here. It’s only five questions — I want to know your favorite decade for sitcoms, where you want me to go next, if there’s anything from the ’90s you think I still need to discuss, and what you might like to see if I were to move into the first decade of the 21st century. As always, there’s also space at the end where you can suggest sitcoms from other decades as well. For reference, here is a list of all the series already covered on Sitcom Tuesdays!

Here’s the link to the survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/H6VH65Z

This survey will close on the morning of Wednesday, March 22, and I will share the results a few weeks later. In the meantime, as an incentive for your participation, the survey’s final page reveals the password to the video link below: a great quality copy of the 18th (and best, most identity-validating) episode of the single-season ’00s sitcom — previously covered on Wildcard Wednesday hereWhoopi (2003-2004, NBC). This entry, “Don’t Hide Love,” was written by Alison McDonald, directed by Terry Hughes, and first aired on March 23, 2004.

Come back next week for a new Wildcard! And stay tuned Tuesday for more Cybill!
